
Participants take a test, which concentrates on aspects of coding, to qualify for the semifinal round of competition. Semifinalists develop a software program – in a designated amount of time – that accurately addresses an onsite problem.



2024-2025:
The following programming languages may be used to complete the assigned problems:
Each student should take the test individually. Students will need their Competitor ID number from their advisor.
All team members will take a Coding test at the state conference on first night during the testing window.
All team members must bring a laptop for testing that can connect to wifi (which may require entering a password).
All teams may compete in the onsite challenge, but only the Top 12, based on combined test scores, will have their work judged.
